Day Forty-three ... Tuesday 22nd November ... comparing scars with Joseph ... more evidence of nerve damage ... lovely new shoes ... |
||||
I've been swapping scar stories with my brother Joseph - he fell off his scooter at the weekend and landed on his face. Yesterday I had another hearing test and a doctor phoned today to chat to mummy about the results. The good news is that my cochlea is working ok but there is damamge to my nerves and I don't have much hearing at the moment. The ear doctor will arrange for a teacher of the deaf to work with mummy and daddy so they can learn how to commicate with me. I've been wearing a lovely new pair of Oppi shoes today. Naomi passed them on from her friend, Jane, who makes them herself "Beatultifully designed and intricately made" - just like me! |

Please pray that my nerves continue to repair so that I can suck, swallow, cry and hear again. |

I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. (Psalm 40) |
